About the Role We are now looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cross-border payment platform.
You will lead a team of talented software engineers, driving innovation and ensuring the successful execution of our technical strategy.
Your responsibilities will encompass team management, strategic planning, and hands-on coding, making you a key contributor to our growth and success.
Responsibilities Manage team performance, set goals, and track progress Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and with cross-functional departments Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth Collaborate with business development, product, and other teams to define and execute the technical roadmap Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends to ensure our platform remains competitive Develop and implement strategies to optimize development processes and improve code quality Contribute to the overall technical direction of the company Actively participate in coding projects, helping the company reach its objectives while setting a high-quality standard inside and outside the team Review and mentor team members' code to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards Contribute to the development of reusable components and libraries Generate exemplary technical documentation, helping the team to set the foundations for success Requirements Proven experience as a senior software engineer with a strong track record of delivering successful projects Minimum of 2 years of experience in team management, preferably in a fast-paced technology environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical challenges Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams Ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve their goals Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Passion for building innovative and scalable software solutions Experience in the fintech industry is a plus We are technology agnostic and value candidates with diverse backgrounds.
