Title: Email/SMS Marketing Manager Reports to: Director of Marketing Full Time, Remote/WFH, M-F, 8-5 CST. Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Automation Manager with extensive hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will play a key role in building and optimizing customer journeys, writing compelling content, coding emails, creating data extensions, and setting up targeted audiences. As a crucial part of our marketing team, you'll need to quickly understand our sales funnel and customer base to build and prioritize nurture journeys that drive engagement and conversion. Key Responsibilities Identify target audience and grow our email/SMS list. Design and implement direct email and SMS marketing campaigns. Proofread emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling. Ensure mobile-friendly email templates. Write newsletters including all company updates. Build and manage end-to-end customer journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Write persuasive and effective email and SMS content to nurture leads and engage customers. Code, design, and deploy emails and SMS that are responsive, high-converting, and visually compelling. Create and manage data extensions and segmented audiences to ensure precise targeting. Be an expert in all of Salesforce Marketing Cloud's features, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Audience Builder. Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements. Collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing to quickly understand the sales funnel and customer lifecycle. Prioritize and execute the development of nurture journeys tailored to specific audience segments. Report on sales revenue generated from email and SMS marketing efforts. Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices. Requirements And Skills Proven hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Pardot, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Audience Builder. Need to provide tangible examples of journeys built and their performance. Familiarity with analytical and database tools. Case studies regarding tests using advanced features in Salesforce Marketing Cloud with performance. Strong email marketing experience with a focus on content writing, HTML coding, and design. Experience building and managing data extensions and audience segments. Ability to analyze and optimize campaigns based on performance metrics.
