About the Role: The EnsembleIQ Audience Development department is responsible for strategic planning and execution to acquire, engage and retain targeted audience members. You will be an integral member of the team, primarily responsible for building and managing audience data sets and reports and supporting the creation of strategies to inform audience activation programs that drive growth, engagement and retention. This role crosses event, digital and magazine product lines, leveraging internal and external partnerships and platforms to drive overall growth. Key Responsibilities: Perform data mining to identify audience segments based on audience behaviors, demographics, and preferences. Support marketing, sales and audience teams with audience targeting capabilities, insights and recommendations for targeted campaigns, including data retrieval, reporting, and analysis to enhance customer engagement. Respond to database-related inquiries and provide timely solutions. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop tailored audience segments for email campaigns, promotions, and sales outreach. Generate and update regular reports on audience metrics and campaign performance. Perform audience analysis and provide insights and outputs that can help define audience profiling, segmentation and engagement. Partner with Audience Development managers to understand efficacy of targeting and to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations across campaigns and touch points. Work with managers to establish new ways to grow and enrich first-party data, and methods to leverage external data in campaigns while building strong databases. Partner closely with internal Data Analyst and Automation Manager to inform building advanced use cases and custom audience segments to drive growth. Collaborate with Audience Development managers to create comprehensive audience-centric marketing plans across channels, reaching key audience segments to achieve business goals. Act as audience subject matter expert across brands while providing data for best practices in order to fuel activation recommendations. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Development, Analytics, a related field, or equivalent experience. At least 3 years' experience in audience acquisition, audience development, or audience data growth, engagement and retention support roles. Media audience and marketing experience preferred. Basic understanding of audience database systems and data management. Strong analytical skills, with focused experience in audience segmentation, audience targeting, and marketing automation. Excellent communication and customer service skills, able to assist teams with data requests and troubleshooting. Ability to extract insights from data to inform marketing and sales strategies. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Logically analyze data and systematically weigh options to determine the best solution. Make sense of complex and sometimes contradictory information to solve problems. Apply knowledge of functional industry and organization to develop new approaches or strategies.
