Employment type: Indefinite term contract Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Work setup: Hybrid, Bogotá/Medellín Design Duties: Shaping the Future of Elevators Gather and review drawings, codes, sketches, blueprints, maps, and photographs related to elevator design projects.
Study engineering specifications to thoroughly understand project requirements and constraints.
Analyze and interpret technical instructions provided by engineers or project managers.
Comprehend complex mechanical concepts and design principles related to elevator systems.
Apply spatial reasoning and mechanical design principles to create detailed drawings and diagrams.
Develop layouts and schematics that accurately depict the spatial arrangement of elevator components within architectural structures.
Utilize drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to create precise and comprehensive drawings of elevator systems.
Generate detailed diagrams illustrating the assembly, installation, and operation of elevator components.
Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements in all design documentation.
Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate elevator designs seamlessly into building projects.

Requirements Qualifications Needed: What It Takes to Rise Above Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
Proven experience (1 to 3 years) working as a Drafter, with a focus on mechanical design and spatial reasoning.
Strong knowledge of mechanical components, motors, and control systems.
Proficiency in drafting software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately interpret complex technical specifications.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
