Job Description The EHS Manager will oversee the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) processes, projects, and programs to ensure a continuous and systematic approach to preventing accidents, occupational illnesses, and environmental impacts and foster a culture of self-safety within the Andean Country Group (Colombia, Perú and Ecuador). Main Responsibilities: Develop and implement a safety culture across the Andean Country Group, ensuring consistent operation in all countries. Lead the regional comprehensive safety program. Advise and coordinate with local security coordinators on regional projects and initiatives related to safety, occupational health, and environment (EHS). Monitor the implementation of security and environmental projects. Design and conduct regional training on Safety, Health, and Environment (EHS) matters in coordination with the Human Resources Management Team. Lead the design and implementation of risk prevention programs in coordination with the local EHS responsible for the Andean Country Group. Lead the EHS Andean Country Group meetings. Supervise and monitor the performance of safety indicators, such as LTA, and develop strategies based on the results, informing regional leaders. Verify compliance with national regulations, laws, and international safety standards. Oversee the development of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, policies, and procedures. Supervise the implementation of Safety committees in the Andean Country Group. Supervise the execution of projects and initiatives, including site visits to plants in the region. Design, maintain, and apply EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) rules. Develop and monitor health programs across all countries to minimize the risk of occupational illnesses. Identify and assess environmental aspects and impacts resulting from O-I´s activities. Implement measures to prevent, control, or mitigate significant environmental impacts caused by productive activities, ensuring they do not disrupt the ecosystem. Enhance the safety culture by focusing on behavior-based safety and risk perception analysis. Qualifications Experience: 10+ years of experience in industrial companies, with a focus on the manufacturing sector. At least 5 years of experience in EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) leadership roles within multinational companies. Proven track record of implementing safety programs centered on a self-care culture. Experience in developing and executing comprehensive health and environmental programs. Educational Background and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering with a Master's degree in Safety, Health, or Environmental fields (preferred). License in Occupational Health and Safety (mandatory). Advanced proficiency in English (mandatory). Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSAS 18001:1999). Knowledge of Environmental Management Systems based on ISO 14001:2004.4.
