Our client is seeking a supervisor to join their Drilling & Workover department who supervises and oversees the operations of contract drilling or workover rigs engaged in carrying out programmed work. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 7 years of experience in drilling and workover operations, including adequate supervisory experience on a drilling or workover rig. Or completion of ITC: English, ERW, Math, MI with 13 years relevant experience in drilling and workover operations, including supervisory experience generally acquired by progression on a drilling or workover rig. Willing to live in remote areas in mobile camps. Key Responsibilities Supervise and oversee all operations performed on our wells. Make recommendations on alternative methods or equipment when unusual situations are encountered. Coordinate deliveries of materials to the well to ensure it is available when required. Ensure that the contractor meets all requirements of his contract. Work with Drilling and Workover engineers to see that modern drilling practices are followed. Approve contractor's daily tour report. Ensure that contractor rig and equipment are properly maintained to avoid downtime. Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Supt. Ensure that our blowout prevention standards are met in all respects. Assure that rig and personnel comply with our established safety standards and procedures. Job Benefits Monthly Base Salary – aligned with company employees with similar skills. Monthly Overbase – 25% of your monthly base salary.
