Within the Public Sector team, is a Centre of Excellence comprised of subject matter experts across commercial practice areas including Mobility, Flows (Disbursements, Procurement, and Collections) Economic Development (Insights, Services, and Growth Segments – Tourism, SME). This team includes deep experts in both government and Mastercard solutions, and thought leaders, with a proven history of solidifying partnerships and winning business. As Director, Urban Mobility in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) your role is to support Mastercard's in-country teams in driving the attainment of key urban mobility objectives, including: removal of friction from day-to-day journeys, reduction of cost and complexity for urban mobility operators and realization of our vision for sustainable and inclusive urban mobility journeys. The goals of this position are to drive innovation, build lasting and high-value private sector partnerships, ensure seamless delivery of our commitments to government agencies, shape our go-to-market approach, and position Mastercard as a key thought-leader and partner across the globe. The selected candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing Mastercard's Urban Mobility strategy in Latin America and the Caribbean. Role The Director of Urban Mobility will be responsible for the following key areas across the Latin America and the Caribbean: • Deploy Mastercard's urban mobility strategy and go-to-market plans • Support business development efforts through deep urban mobility subject matter expertise, and help to grow the expand opportunities by identifying and cultivating relationships with key transit and urban mobility stakeholders / cities • Develop deep partnerships with the private sector urban mobility partners that help to scale our business • Identify key use cases and enhancements with our range of products to grow the partnerships and complement the key focus areas. Confirm market opportunities with external market engagement and develop related opportunity map for regions and partners. • Advocate for Mastercard payment solutions and technologies across the transit and urban mobility space, including open loop payments in transit systems around the world • Identify areas for innovation and industry thought leadership • Advocate for changes and enhancements to urban mobility products to support evolving LAC market needs • Support market and business development teams in crafting responses to urban mobility RFPs • Activate and inspire the work of Mastercard team members throughout the Latin America and the Caribbean urban mobility community by sharing best practices, developing use cases, and creating a culture of collaboration • Be an ambassador for innovation including leading key initiatives with clients and partners, sharing success with delegations from around the world, and informing our global mobility roadmap.
