Responsibilities: Responsible for the detailed management of the property's Security and Health Safety Team, ensuring conformity to all relevant security policies. Responsible for the detailed production of the Local Security Policies and Procedures, and Crisis/Emergency Plans, including obtaining appropriate input on local laws or similar requirements. Responsible with the General Manager for ensuring that baseline security measures deliver the intent contained in the guidance sections. Conducting a security risk assessment at least once a year and on an 'as required' basis. Ensuring that the property's Local Security Policies and Procedures are aligned with local law and local Health and Safety legislation. Forming strategic relationships with local law enforcement, emergency response, and other security stakeholders. Approval of job descriptions for individual members of the Security Department. Ensuring the delivery of appropriate security and safety training to the Security and other relevant Departments. Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Previous Security experience preferred, especially in a luxury environment. Must have strong communication skills and ability to adapt to constant change within the Hotel. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Must be able to work as part of a team.
