You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Shopify apps that enhance the functionality and performance of our clients' e-commerce stores. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of the Shopify platform, its APIs (GraphQL and REST), and best practices for app development. You are proficient in both frontend and backend technologies and have a passion for creating efficient, scalable, and user-friendly e-commerce solutions. Qualifications Shopify Expertise: Deep understanding of the Shopify platform, including its architecture, APIs, and app development best practices. API Proficiency: Strong experience with Shopify's GraphQL and REST APIs, including data querying, mutations, and rate-limiting. Backend Development: Proficiency in Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or Python, with experience building RESTful and GraphQL services. Frontend Development: Strong JavaScript skills and experience with React (or Vue) and frontend frameworks. Familiarity with Shopify Polaris. Data Management: Knowledge of efficient data handling techniques and experience with Shopify's rate-limiting policies. Optimize app performance by minimizing API calls and adhering to Shopify's rate-limiting policies. Leverage webhooks to handle real-time events and implement asynchronous data processing. Backend Development: Develop and maintain robust backend systems using Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or Python. Build RESTful and GraphQL services to support app functionality and interact with third-party services. Ensure data integrity and security through proper data handling and validation techniques. Frontend Development: Create engaging and interactive user interfaces using JavaScript, React (or Vue), and other frontend technologies.
