Position Overview : The Dental Billing Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate billing, claims processing, and payment collections.
This position requires familiarity with dental software and an eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities : Manage dental billing processes, including insurance claims submission and follow-ups.Accurately input and validate patient data into the billing system (preferably Open Dental or similar software).Resolve billing discrepancies, rejections, and delays by liaising with insurance providers.Ensure proper coding and compliance with dental billing standards.Communicate with patients to clarify billing inquiries and resolve payment issues.Maintain organized records of claims, payments, and adjustments.Identify areas for process improvement and propose solutions to enhance billing efficiency.Qualifications : Proficiency in any dental billing software (Open Dental preferred).Previous experience in dental billing or related roles is ideal.Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.Critical thinker with the ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly.Organized and detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in billing processes.Ability to work independently and learn new tools or software quickly.Nice-to-Haves : Prior experience in a dental practice setting.Familiarity with insurance claims and coding.Self-motivated with a willingness to bring new ideas and streamline processes.Please note : To ensure prompt processing of your application, we kindly request that you submit your resume and an introductory video in English format.
