Data Engineer

General Requirements:
-Resource working hours overlap at minimum with Client Core hours: 10 am - 2 pm PST (Overlap with the entire PST working day is ideal)
-Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
-Active in team discussions.
-Strong attention to detail
-Ability to prioritize/manage multiple tasks
-Can unblock themselves. Lead Engineer can unblock other resource(s).
-Can communicate clearly and concisely with the project team.
-Collaborate clearly and concisely with business stakeholders to define project scope and refine requirements
-Experience with Salesforce architecture and the various APIs.
-Experience working within an Agile environment, including daily standups, backlog grooming,
as well as sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
-Experience with keeping Jira tickets up to date and tracking project work in Jira, Jira Align, and ServiceNow.
-Supplier provides ongoing technical training, hardware, and baseline software (i.e. Windows 10 and MS Office)

Role Requirements/Expectations:
-7+ years of experience with OOP
-5+ years of experience with Apex (Triggers, Asynchronous Apex, etc.)
-5+ years of experience working with custom web services
-3+ years of experience with LWC
-Comfortable working with Source Control (pulling, merging code, and using documented branching strategies)
-Has experience with working with monolithic legacy systems
-Platform Developer 1 Certification
-Platform Developer 2 Certification
-BS in Computer Science

Nice to have :
-2+ years of experience working with Splunk dashboards to id code signals and error logs
-Salesforce JavaScript Developer Certification

Delivery
-Can develop/ configure, test, deploy, and document features

-Can work independently and deliver features using Apex and LWC (primarily) and configuration tools (when needed)
-Follows best practices and design principles when writing code
-Writes Clean Code. Emphasizing readability and scalability
-Tests code completely, using unit tests, mocks, etc.
-Has Good error-handling practices
-Excellent debugging skills
-Develop and maintain technical documentation.
