We seek a Data Engineer with experience in SQL and Python, particularly in data warehousing and data migrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ETL (extract, transform, load) tools and be adept at developing ETL processes that ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency. Experience working with large datasets, optimizing SQL queries, and enhancing database performance is also essential. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage complex SQL scripts and queries for extracting, transforming, and loading data into a data warehouse. Design, implement, and optimize data models and database schemas to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. Perform data migrations and integrations between various data sources and systems using Python. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues, including quality, integrity, and performance. Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture, flows, and lineage. Ensure adherence to data governance policies, standards, and best practices. Develop and sustain data models to meet the organization's data requirements. Requirements: 1+ years of experience in SQL development and data modeling for data warehousing. Strong proficiency in Python programming. Experience with ETL tools. Knowledge of cloud-based data storage solutions such as AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, or Google Cloud Storage. Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with Ruby or Workato is a plus. Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
