Job Description This role is part of the newly formed Data Strategy and Stewardship team within the Product organization.  This team will be instrumental in shaping the organization's data landscape.
As a Data Analyst, you will support the Data Strategy and Stewardship team in collecting and organizing key information on our data assets, and analyzing this information to develop insights about our data, how it is governed and the value it creates for our enterprise.
You will also help ensure that our data and reports meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Establish and analyze our data catalogue: Partner with key functions including procurement, operations and technology to build a catalogue of all of our data assets including key meta data on each asset (e.g., source, cost, structure, etc)  Analyze and validate data, models and other analytical solutions developed in the team  Partner with the data strategy lead to analyze the data catalogue including assessing the ROI of each data source  Assist the data stewardship team in implementing governance and security standards to protect our data assets Assist in implementing global data quality standards: Partner with the data quality team on various activities related to ensuring the accuracy, consistency and reliability of our data products  Activities will include analyzing current quality levels, supporting the implementation of continuous monitoring of data and model Quality Performance Indicators and auditing quality standards  Locating and defining new process improvement opportunities Qualifications Bachelor's degree with a preference to Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Business Analytics, Data Science and related Advanced English level (B2-C1, madatory) Proven working experience as a Data Analyst, Business Data Analyst, or Financial Data Analyst of  at least 3 years?  Experience with data quality audits  A collaborative mindset allowing productive working relationships with global stakeholders  Strong analytical thinking with the ability to link data to the problem to solve  High attention to detail and ability to summarize findings in concise reports  Experience managing, analyzing, or interpreting financial or other kinds of sensitive data  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel  The ability to learn other software tools as required  Desirable but not mandatory technical skills:  Proficient end user of Business Intelligence tools eg.
PowerBI, Microstrategy, Qlik  Ability to write basic SQL (select statements)  Basic relational data modelling skills – entity relationship diagrams   Ability to write basic Python notebooks  Ability to research data from public sources eg.
