We are searching for the best talent for the Customer Quality Specialist position in Bogota, Sao Paulo, Sao Jose dos Campos, Mexico City, or Santiago de Chile.
PurposeUnder the general direction of the Regional CQ Manager, the Commercial Quality Specialist is responsible for supporting leadership and process execution to ensure the success of Purchasing Control process management in the Latin America Region, as well as New Product Introduction (NPI) and Product Discontinuation with an emphasis on quality solutions that will enhance customer and patient experience. The overall responsibilities also require leadership in regional projects and initiatives providing strategic direction to achieve established goals.
Role complexity includes but is not limited to the ability to represent the region in global projects and initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for:
Leading quality forums and meetings across the LATAM region including CQ at local level and key stakeholders, regarding Purchasing Control, NPI, and Product Discontinuation processes.Supporting the deployment and standardization of the related Global Quality System elements across the LATAM region.Active participation at global CQ meetings related to assigned quality elements, as well as leading deployment at the regional level.Acting as quality responsible at core elements (Purchasing Control, NPI, and Product Discontinuation processes).Acting as SPOC for the region, supporting the deployment of new requirements and documents.Elaboration, review, or approval of gap assessments for the regional related processes.Conducting investigations of Non-Conformities and CAPAs when required.Ensuring the maintenance of compliance with suppliers and distributors requirements qualification at regional level.Supporting internal or external audits and inspections that verify the related processes within regional QMS.Partnering with the Clusters, Regional and Functional Community, Business Leaders, and Functional areas.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Sciences, Engineering or equivalent field, or health-related discipline.Bilingual (English and Spanish are required), Portuguese is a plus.Knowledge of supplier quality management.Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare industry.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Experience in supplier quality management roles.Audit capabilities are also required. Desirable QualificationsRelevant experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.Proven experience with regulators and quality standard programs.Experience in supplier quality management roles, as well as qualification processes.Experience with internal or external audits of suppliers and/or distributors.Knowledge of EtQ and Windchill quality systems.
