MalaceHR is seeking a Custodian to work in a factory setting in Aurora, CO.Openings:5a-2:30pPay: $17.31/hrQUALIFICATIONSPrevious custodial experience preferred.Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautionsMaintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workersAdaptable to guests' needsThis role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Essential Janitorial Duties and Responsibilities:Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaningCleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
Sanitize all surfaces.
Follows the eight-step cleaning procedure.Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.While janitorial is a good part of the services we offer, we also handle various other tasks.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:Removing and Bailing CardboardMoving and stacking PalletsFloor cleaningFork truck operationQualifications:Previous experience in a janitor, custodian, cleaner or housekeeping position preferredFrequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicalsMust have reliable transportation
