The Corporate Salesperson is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Responsibilities: Sell separate account services or finance products directly to corporate clients Help team service clients in the buying and selling of securities, derivatives, FX, and commodities Drive the team's developed strategy across specified product line Aid in achieving specified goals in both market and wallet share for the identified client franchise Originate and execute meaningful and landmark transactions Work independently and/or jointly within business product to achieve strategic growth and market share Continue to develop knowledge of the business (e.g., firm's products and services), marketplace, and clients Partner closely with other key businesses and functions to ensure proper product deployment based on understanding of client Foster an environment of collaboration through interfacing with appropriate internal partners Understand and analyze clients' businesses and exposures to provide best suited sales solutions Facilitate optimal discussions with clients with guidance from team leads or Desk Head Lead strong governance and controls Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance, and ethics Assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions Be familiar with and adhere to Citi's Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation Qualifications: 2-5 years relevant experience Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Math Previous experience in client-facing roles with proven track record on growing and maintaining relationships Entrepreneurial approach for business origination and developing new relationships Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Must be able to write, read, and speak English fluently Certificacion de AMV Education: Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
