This role will be part of the Global Services Finance team in the Enterprise & Employees Financial Services process area.
The Global Services Finance organization provides best-in-class, cost-effective financial services, and compliance-in a J&J way-to our Operating Companies around the world.
Position Summary The position will be part of the Capability Center organization.
T he Analyst role should have strong change management acumen to ensure the success of processes/ Systems and automation tools implemented.
As an Analyst, you are responsible in consistently delivering assigned tasks and responsibilities for the Americas region.
This role will also be responsible for review, validation and analysis of results and reports.
You will also facilitate and have tactical responsibilities in the areas of Incident and Change management, Continuous Improvement initiatives, digital capabilities project deliverables and system upgrades.
You will follow J&J Global Services tools, procedures, and guidelines in discharge of your day-to-day duties.
Strong collaboration, adaptability and time-management are critical for this role.
Key Responsibilities • Foster data quality by working with Transactions and Payroll teams and Finance field teams.
• Focus on efficiency, quality and compliance of processes.
• Deliver training materials on processes and applications.
• Manage the knowledge base for assigned geographic area of coverage.
• Provide end users with assistance; troubleshoot problems and communicate the resolution.
• Advertise system applications to targeted users and govern access rights following security procedures.
• Executes, in accordance with globally established standards, processes for SOX compliance, internal controls, and required regulatory/statutory requirements (including payroll record data maintenance).
• Maintains a high degree of confidentiality, data protection assurance, conformity with J&J policies, procedures, external regulations, and agencies.
• Updates and maintains payroll process and administration documentation.
• Identifies and raises continuous improvement and automation opportunities.
• Supports cross-functional projects with payroll dependency.
• Supports and resolves payroll related inquiries.
Qualifications • A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in HR or Finance operation is required.
( Americas Region) • Strong English language verbal and written communication skills is required.
• Research and problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to execute tactically, quickly adapt to situations, and address day-to-day operational challenges with minimal supervision.
• Cultural awareness and an ability to work with a multitude of people across multiple markets assigned.
• Prior experience with deployment or implementation projects.
• Prior experience in a multi-national company, and/or experience in Finance/HR Shared Services preferred.
• Intelligent Innovation capabilities • Data Analytics skills • Microsoft Tools knowledge (Power BI, Power Apps, Microsoft Flow) • Digital capabilities - Uipad, alteryx.
• Knowledge and/or experience with Knowledge Management artifacts such as Desktop Procedures (DTPs) and proficiency with Compliance requirements (SOX and Business Controls) is required.
