About The Role The role of the Project Coordinator is integral to Ernest's success, encompassing diverse responsibilities that span across multiple departments. This individual will play a pivotal role in orchestrating various stakeholders throughout the entire construction project life cycle. Specifically, the operations coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the project is tracking on budget by reviewing project expenses, coordinating site inspections, and ensuring on-site electricians have all necessary equipment and materials for seamless project execution. What You'll Do Collaborate with on-site foreman to streamline preparation of material lists and handling of quotes/bids for the required materials. Engage directly with vendors to establish clear expectations for material orders and deliveries. Efficiently coordinate and schedule permitting inspections tailored to the unique needs of our clients and projects. Provide comprehensive updates to the internal team, detailing the project's progress. Meticulously process and verify scheduling requests, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project timelines. Strategically plan staffing for construction projects, taking into account technician expertise and estimated duration of the project for optimal efficiency. Foster direct communication with technician supervisors to both receive and provide real-time updates on ongoing jobs. Take a proactive approach to identifying pain points, drafting SOPs, and implementing new processes. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously.
