Construction Manager - Latam

Leap29 is recruiting on behalf of our client, a global leader in renewable energy investments, to find an exceptional Construction Manager based in Bogotá, Colombia.This is your chance to join a pioneering team and lead groundbreaking solar PV and T&D projects that are shaping the future of renewable energy.Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support project construction activities from pre-construction through to operations.Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.Maintain project controls, including budget, schedule, and risk management.Build and manage relationships with contractors and stakeholders, enforcing contracts as needed.Oversee grid connection works and support Grid Operator management.Lead safety and excellence on-site, acting as a role model to contractors and the project team.Manage documentation and plan a smooth transition into operations.
Requirements: Degree in engineering and 5-10 years of experience.Experience in Solar PV and T&D project construction; wind project experience is a plus.Strong HSE training with a focus on health, safety, and environment.Knowledge of the Colombian grid connection process and experience with MV/HV electrical substations and transmission lines.Ability to handle late-stage development and pre-construction.Excellent communication skills.Fluency in English required; other languages are a plus.Proactive, diligent, and capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines.Willingness to travel frequently.
