In this role, you will be responsible for: Work closely with the product team to generate intelligence on products, align market and competitor trends, and support product roadmap planning. Gather, analyze, and communicate market data and trends related to the financial services technology industry and identify early warnings on shifts in the marketplace and how they apply to the financial industry. Maintain cross-functional relationships with Sales & Marketing to gain insights from the "field." Identify information sources and gaps, and create plans to solve for both high-level and tactical business problems. Lead discussions with our customers and prospects to gain competitive intelligence. About you Proven market intelligence, financial analysis or business analytics background required Applicable experience in business/competitive analysis Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in business analysis and reporting methods Position requires advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook) and G Suite applications. Proven leadership skills and business acumen Education Preferred Bachelor's degree (Business, Finance, Information Science or Information Technology) Skills and Knowledge Required Quick learner and strategic thinker, with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills along with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to distill complex information into key concepts and actionable intelligence Strong communication skills across verbal, written and presented content. Ability to work independently as well as in a rapidly growing and changing team environment Must be dynamic, innovative, and possess creative problem-solving skills Highly organized and detail-oriented individual Understanding of the accounts payable ecosystem and B2B payments systems are preferred but not required.
