Job DescriptionDescription of The Position The Communications, ESG and Strategic Alliances Manager at Organon LAMEX (Latin America & the Caribbean – Spanish speaking) is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies that align with the company's objectives, values, ESG and policy initiatives.
This role oversees:Internal Communications: Developing engaging content and strategies to inform and inspire employees, fostering a culture aligned with Organon's vision, purpose and values.External Communications: Managing media relations, digital presence, and stakeholder communications to enhance Organon's reputation and brand recognition.ESG Initiatives: Crafting and executing ESG strategies that align with business objectives and purpose, ensuring these efforts are effectively communicated to relevant audiences.Strategic Partnerships: Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to support Organon's growth and ESG goals.Crisis Management: Leading communications during critical situations to protect/defend the company's reputation.Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitating meaningful interactions with employees, investors, partners, and the public to build trust, reputation and business growth.The manager plays a crucial role in positioning Organon LAMEX as a leader in corporate responsibility, women´s health partner of choice and sustainable growth by bridging the gap between sustainable practices and strategic positioning.
This role ensures that Organon's commitment to responsible business is not only implemented but also understood and appreciated by all stakeholders.Responsibilities Corporate Communications: Develop and execute comprehensive corporate communication strategies aligned with Organon priorities, connecting the communications strategic planning with the corporate and business objectives/plans.Craft and manage internal communications to engage employees, foster company culture, and drive understanding of Organon's mission, values, and ESG commitmentsLead external communications, including media relations, press releases, and public statements, to effectively convey Organon's corporate narrative and ESG progressOversee crisis communication planning and execution, ensuring rapid and appropriate responses to potential reputational risksManage digital communication channels, including corporate website, social media platforms, and internal portals, to ensure consistent messaging and engagementCollaborate with ESG teams to translate complex sustainability initiatives into clear, compelling narratives for various stakeholder groupsDevelop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies to build and maintain relationships with key audiences, including media outlets and pr firms.Coordinate with leadership to prepare executive communications, including speeches, presentations, and thought leadership contentMeasure and analyze the effectiveness of communication initiatives, using data-driven insights to continuously improve strategiesEnsure brand consistency across all communication touchpoints, reinforcing Organon's identity and valuesDevelop and manage the corporate communications budget, ensuring efficient and impactful allocation of resources.Create informative press releases, press kits, newsletters and related internal and external marketing.Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build customer brand awareness and engagement.Work with in a cross functional team mode to generate ideas and strategies according to the corporate and business objectives.Create a strategy to position the company's voice through its leaders with High-Quality and valuable Content, and develop original, thought-provoking, and educational narrative.
Manage the media monitoring and analysis of media coverage.
Arrange and manage the media coverage for all required company events (including all logistics).Management of the External Communications Plans and Activities: Develop and oversee integrated advertising campaigns across various media channels.Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure alignment between advertising and corporate messaging.Evaluate and select appropriate advertising platforms to reach target audiences effectivelyMonitor communication performance and adjust strategies for optimal impact and ROI.Create compelling corporate presentations for investor relations, partner meetings, and industry events.Develop and maintain a comprehensive brand information kit for consistent external communication.Ensure all brand materials accurately reflect Organon's current positioning, values, and ESG commitments.Regularly update presentation templates and brand guidelines to maintain relevance and impact.Identify key industry events, conferences, and forums for Organon's participation.Develop strategies for maximizing networking opportunities at these events.Prepare briefing materials for executives attending networking events.Implement follow-up processes to nurture relationships developed through networking activities.Oversee the development and regular updating of Organon's corporate website content.Implement a content strategy that showcases Organon's thought leadership, ESG initiatives, and corporate news.Manage a corporate blog with regular posts on industry trends, company updates, and ESG progress.Ensure website content is SEO-optimized and accessible across various devices.Management of Internal Communications Plans and Activities: Develop and implement comprehensive internal communication strategies aligned with Organon's corporate objectives and culture.Drive employee engagement and awareness.Create campaigns to communicate company strategy and mission.Develop initiatives to increase understanding of ESG efforts internally.Design and implement employee feedback mechanisms.Draft and distribute company-wide announcements.Coordinate with leadership on executive communications.Ensure timely delivery of critical information to all employees.Implement internal communication measurement tools.Coordinate cross-functional communication initiatives.Collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments on joint communication efforts.ESG Strategy and CommunicationsDevelop Organon's ESG efforts and be the primary point for strategy development and evaluation of impact.Coordinate development of Organon Women's Health and ESG public policy positions in coordination with senior management and relevant internal stakeholders, managing communication internally and externally, as appropriate.
Develop end-to-end, integrated ESG strategies at the enterprise level, positioning them as long-term value creation mechanisms for Organon, society, and the planet.Drive targeted social transformation projects for business units and functions.Create and implement communication strategies to effectively convey Organon's ESG initiatives and progress.Recognize and apply global and regional social, economic, and environmental trends, translating those insights into actionable communication and ESG plans.Develop practical solutions, methodologies, and "thought leadership" content related to ESG and communications.Establish and track key performance indicators for communication and ESG initiatives.Oversee the creation of ESG reports and progress updates for various stakeholders.Analyze the effectiveness of communication and ESG strategies, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.Strategic Alliances, Stakeholder Engagement and PartnershipsDevelop and maintain relationships with top decision-makers at key clients/partners, NGOs, media outlets, think tanks, and industry leaders.Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives, ensuring effective communication with various audiences including employees, investors, and the public.Organize and lead pursuit teams for new partnerships and collaborations.Digital CommunicationsEstablish the digital ecosystem for Organon LAMEX with the relevant multidisciplinary teams, considering the corporate needs/opportunities, defining the strategy and the road map to achieve the most impactful positioning of the company: purpose, priorities and objectives.Lead the development and implementation of digital communication strategies to support corporate communications and ESG initiatives across strategic platforms/social media channels, aligned with corporate and business priorities.Ensure consistent brand messaging and voice across all corporate digital channels.Leverage data analytics to optimize digital communication performance, and decision-making process of investment and implementation.Required Education, Experience and Skills Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, public relations, or a relevant field.
Additional studies on marketing, digital media, sustainability and business are highly desirable.4+ years of working experience in corporate communications, PR, digital marketing, and social media management, or related roles.Experience in sustainability reporting, stakeholder engagement, and ESG strategy.Manage of analytics tools applied to communication/ESG/PR strategies.Experience writing for different formats (i.e., web, social media, video,).Proven experience created targeted content.Strong knowledge of best-in-class communications practices and techniques.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Previous experience working with comm/PR agencies, governments or private sector.3+ years of solid experience in positions with proven experience from design to implementation of communications, social media, PR and ESG strategies across countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.5+ years of experience working in a customer- facing role.Demonstrate a high level of engagement and networking with key stakeholders at Latin America and the Caribbean region relevant to the role.Proven track record of successful communications, social media, PR and ESG strategies from definition to execution across Latin America and the Caribbean.Project Management knowledge and Commercial understanding.Familiarity with compliance guidelines and data protection legislation.Desirable experience managing and developing leadership by influence.Leadership, strategic thinking and engagement skills.Multicountry Team management.Outstanding communication, influence and presentation abilities.Problem-solving, Adaptability, Cross functional collaboration and Teamwork.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and matrix environment.Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.Self – motivated, Results Orientated, accountability, Ownership and Decision making.Proven experience in Latin America and the Caribbean region.Knowledge in agile methodologies/project management is desirable.Fluency in English and Spanish.MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Power Point.Additional relevant platforms for the role.Secondary Job DescriptionWho We Are: Organon delivers ingenious health solutions that enable people to live their best lives.
