Within the framework of its contractual responsibilities, Panagora provides the Mission with technical and advisory services to facilitate informed decision-making on the management of USAID/Colombia activities, shape the long-term strategic and programmatic direction of the Mission, and allow USAID/Colombia to comply with USAID's Evaluation Policy and USAID Automated Directives System (ADS) 201. Among the services that Panagora provides to USAID/Colombia is the development of research special studies, and data analysis, whose main objective is to provide the Mission with timely and quality information that allows timely and informed decision-making regarding action plans and future activities to be developed within the framework of cooperation. As part of this process, Panagora creates diverse communication and analytical products such as Work Plan and Design documents, Google Slides presentations, final evaluation and assessment reports, factsheets and infographics, among others, which must comply with the USAID style guide and the technical writing standards established by Panagora. Panagora is offering an exciting opportunity for a Communications Assistant with experience in editing who assures the consistency and accuracy of the texts. The ideal candidate must have strong skills in grammar, syntax, and spelling in English and the ability to work under tight deadlines to deliver high-quality products. Responsibilities: Review and edit documents, presentations and communication materials in English. Write scripts, PowerPoint slides, and talking points, among other products. Verify that the English documents comply with the USAID and Panagora requirements in terms of style, format, structure, and writing. Work in partnership with technical teams and documents' authors to clarify any technical doubt, ensuring the messages' accuracy. Participate in team meetings to discuss projects' progress. Requirements Bachelor's degree in philology, linguistics, communication, literature, or a related field. 2 years of general experience. Experience in editing technical documents, reports, presentations, and other written materials in English, ideally within the context of international development. Familiarity with the USAID style guide is desired. Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and syntax. Excellent communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively in a team. Prior experience with USAID activities or international organizations is desired.
