Comms Manager / Media Monitor (Remote)

Invisible Hand is looking for a Comms Manager to work across a variety of projects in our rapidly growing, social impact and culture change agency. Our team's mission is to use culture, cause, and lived experiences to propel the world forward. We work to build category-defining content and experiences and to meaningfully move key business metrics by delivering world-class creative. Our client roster includes the Archewell Foundation, Climate Power, Paramount, Meta, and PBS. While this is definitely not a digital-only job, we are on the quest to find someone deeply invested and tapped into digital media with the ability to produce polished, insightful deliverables quickly. This role will work closely with our small, nimble team. Here's a sampling of what you'll do: Daily briefings to client senior leadership on news headlines, social listening, and relevant chatter in culture. Social listening and management during key activation moments. Media monitoring and strategy for responses and/or proactive strategies for more positive mentions. Keep a close eye on trends and news to be able to convert into actionable ideas for clients. Here's what we're looking for: You have at least two years' experience working in PR and/or crisis comms. Proven knowledge of social media, and an ability to extract insights and learnings from what you see. You are a strong writer with significant experience crafting communications for highly ranking organization principals. You exhibit professionalism and integrity, leading by example, treating people with respect, and seeking and giving constructive feedback. You are able to manage competing demands and the moving pieces of multiple creative projects, yet remain unflappable under deadline pressure.
