Collections Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bilingual Collector Agent to handle business-tobusiness (B2B) commercial collections. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in collections, with the ability to make 80+ calls per day, send follow-up emails and SMS, and work with files to process payments. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential, as the agent will interact with clients from diverse backgrounds. Key Responsibilities - Manage commercial (B2B) collection efforts by contacting clients through phone (80+ calls daily), email, and SMS to recover outstanding payments. - Negotiate payment terms and schedules with clients in both English and Spanish. - Accurately record all collection activities and client interactions in the system. - Work with internal systems and files to process and document payments. - Research and resolve client disputes to ensure timely payments. - Escalate complex or high-risk accounts to management when necessary. - Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly collection goals. - Ensure compliance with company policies and collection laws during all communication efforts. - Demonstrate reliability by consistently showing up to work on time and completing assigned tasks. Qualifications - Fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written) is required. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in collections in general (commercial collections experience is a plus). - Strong ability to handle a high volume of calls and effectively communicate with clients. - Proficient in managing emails, SMS communications, and working with collection files. - Excellent negotiation, persuasion and problem-solving skills. - Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
