Position Overview: The Client Accounting Manager will oversee a small team of 2-3 members and deliver exceptional accounting services to clients.
This role focuses on client satisfaction, quality control, and process improvement to ensure the highest level of service and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Client Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of client satisfaction by identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
Respond promptly and clearly to client questions and feedback.
Team Management: Oversee and manage a team of 2-3 accounting professionals by delegating tasks, reviewing work, and providing coaching.
Quality Control: Conduct thorough QC reviews and approve financial statements before client delivery.
Financial Review Calls: Lead monthly client financial review meetings via Zoom or Loom, analyzing trends and providing proactive insights.
Accounting Operations: Oversee accounting tasks, including payroll, month-end close, AR/AP management, sales tax, and 1099 filings.
Systems & Process Development: Create and implement systems and processes to streamline accounting workflows and improve overall client service efficiency.
Qualifications: Excellent English language skills with minimal accent.
Strong knowledge of accrual-based accounting.
2-3+ years of experience in client-facing accounting roles.
Experience managing a small team and overseeing service delivery.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QBO, NetSuite, SAP, or equivalent.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-Haves: Experience with US-based clients.
Prior client account management experience.
