Job Summary:This claims professional must have extensive background in the insurance industry, which includes both primary insurance and reinsurance claim handling experience.
The ideal candidate will have a high level of technical claims handling ability in property and casualty lines of business.
Experience managing others and/or supervising a caseload of complex claims, ability to organize and analyse data and an in-depth knowledge of the Lat Am insurance market is highly desired.The position requires 3+ years of combined insurance/reinsurance claim handling experience and 1+ years in supervising other team members, projects and/or accounts/programs.
Key duties and responsibilities: Oversee and manage a portfolio of (re)insurance claims, as well as direct program business in Lat Am.
Specific duties include: Evaluating, developing, reporting on and resolving complex and/or high value claimsReviewing claim loss bordereaux and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders as required Approving financial transactions on claims within authorityConducting claim and due diligence audits and communicating findings and recommendations back to interested stakeholdersAnalyzing loss and expense trends on loss portfolios, emerging risks and large losses; collaborating on the development and implementation of plans to improve results.Anticipating stakeholder needs and expectations and delivering superior customer service.Contributing to the company's international community of claims expertise by sharing knowledge and experience on a global basisParticipating in projects as required Required experience & competenciesExperience: 3+ years of combined insurance/reinsurance claim handling experience.
1+ years in supervising other team members, projects and/or accounts/programs.
