Reporting to the Regional or Area Head of Customer Implementation, the Customer Implementation Specialist is responsible for leading new customer implementations for accounts owned in the region or area with a medium complexity level, geographical scope, business scale and impact, bridging the sales and operational activities to ensure smooth transition of new or additional business into the Maersk Organization. Key responsibilities: Project Management: Lead the overall implementation project plan across all geographies and ensure delivery of all functions. Provide timely project status to internal and external stakeholders with critical milestones, Go/No Go stage gates and operational readiness criteria. Escalate issues and mitigate risks for resolution promptly. Customer Relationship Management: Establish good relationship building with Customers, lead the Customer through our onboarding process to keep within the approved project scope, and act as our Customers' centre of gravity on implementation and issue resolution. Delivering on Customer Promises: Work with related functions to establish critical deliverables such as SOP/IOP compliance across all origin and destination offices, recruitment, training, and system readiness in part of Go-Live readiness. Commercial Engagement: Contribute to securing new business wins by actively engaging in the sales process and presenting the implementation methodology. Implementation Community: Eager to learn and apply new learnings and best practices adopted by the CIM community. Seek clarification or guidance to enhance your project implementation capabilities. We are looking for: Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in Global logistics industry with proven experience in project implementations. Good understanding of platforms and IT landscapes and various Supply Chain Solutions. Customer Centricity Mindset and general knowledge on Commercial engagement. Good interpersonal and communication skills. A self-starter with passion, and a strong drive to continuously develop with good problem-solving skills. PMP, ACP-PMI or similar project management training or certification. Proficiency in project management digital tools like Asana and MS Office applications.
