What you would be doing: Manage network infrastructure, such as routers, firewalls, and switches. Set up High Availability VPNs to ensure reliable connectivity. Work with the CCTV infrastructure team to improve network performance and uptime. Produce detailed documentation and network diagrams. Carry out daily monitoring chores with technologies such as Grafana, PRTG, and Cisco Prime. Troubleshoot network problems and provide prompt resolution. Update network devices to solve coding vulnerabilities. Keep the local area network (LAN) running smoothly by monitoring, maintaining, and managing network infrastructure devices. What makes you a strong candidate: 5-7 years of network engineering experience is required. Expertise in TCP/IP networking. Understanding of switching technologies (Ethernet, VLANs, and Spanning Tree). Knowledge of VPN, MPLS, and QoS technologies. The ability to analyze sniffer traces with tools such as Wireshark. Understanding of application layer protocols like SNMP, SMTP, DNS, and DHCP. Familiarity with Syslog protocol. Knowledge of security technologies such as IPSec, UTM, and DDoS. Understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems. Experience with virtualization platforms such as ESXi and Proxmox. Knowledge of routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP, as well as related technologies. Understanding of HA techniques such as VRRP, HSRP, VSS, VPC, Multichassis Etherchannel, and Fabric Extenders. A bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent is required.
