As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will be responsible for strategically sourcing and connecting trucking companies with our client's shipments, managing the process from pickup to delivery. Your role will involve conducting sales activities such as making outbound and inbound calls to trucking companies in the U.S. and negotiating competitive freight rates. Additionally, you will onboard and develop new carrier relationships, oversee the tracking and tracing of shipments, and resolve any issues that arise during transit. Responsibilities: Conduct outbound/inbound calls to carriers in client's internal and external networks. Negotiate and sell competitive rates for our client's shipments. Onboard new carriers and develop ongoing relationships. Supervise the track and trace of your shipments. Resolve issues related to your shipments and communicate it to account management. Ensure invoices and PODs are accurately being sent to Billing in a timely manner. Skills Required: English Fluency: B2 High - C1 level. Experience: A minimum of 6 months in the freight industry is a plus, but not required. Education: Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing one with intent to graduate. Skills: Strong communication, phone handling, and active listening skills (both verbal and written). Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
