Responsible for the integrity of the computer-graphic product, architecture, factory layout, P&ID's and/or process model databases.
These models must be suitable for internal concurrent manufacture, CMM data extraction, vendor translation or architectural and mechanical references.How You'll Create ImpactWorks simultaneously with development, manufacturing, tool and process engineers to create complex 3-D surfaced or solid models of orthopedic implants, provisional and instrumentation.Creates, modifies and maintain detailed technical drawings mechanical systems, factory layouts and/or P&ID's diagram following engineering specifications.Works simultaneously with process engineering and CNC programming to develop product, and processing models and drawings.
Or work with Engineering and Facilities on developing "as is" drawings for mechanical system or machinery.Evaluates designs using anatomic data.
Or Process and distribute drawing requests to departments as needed.Manages a portion of the graphics maintenance workload.Complies with existing procedures and standards to create product models and drawings that comply with Quality Systems Regulations.What Makes You Stand OutFamiliar with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and capable of applying GD&T callouts to drawings per ASME Y 14.5.Innovative in developing new designs.
Develops patentable designs.Assists with the development of processes and techniques that shorten development cycle times.Adapts quickly to new technologies.Manages special assignments and maintenance responsibilities effectively.
