As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will deliver Business Intelligence services for strategic clients from Munich Re's Regional Center in Bogotá. Your role involves actively supporting the client management (CM) team by providing robust business and portfolio analytics and fostering the development of holistic business and client strategies.
This role reports organizationally to the Executive Client Manager and requires close collaboration with underwriting (UW) and client management teams, as well as the Regional Business Intelligence team. Your Responsibilities Contribute to the ambition of Munich Re's Regional Center in Bogotá by providing business analytics for client strategies and delivering performance insights to ensure effective portfolio steering in close collaboration with CM and UW teams.Research market trends to identify potential new business opportunities and develop solid business cases.Drive business and portfolio-related analyses, reporting, and research activities, ensuring professional interpretation and visualization of findings.Support the CM area by establishing and maintaining access to relevant market and business information (business intelligence).Perform data analysis on external and internal data to identify patterns and trends; visualize and summarize data for key stakeholders.Prepare presentations, dashboards, and other visual tools to facilitate data access and analysis for CM and UW colleagues.Develop external client, competitor, and broker analyses, as well as internal portfolio and renewal analyses.Create high-quality, client-specific sales presentations (pitch books) for strategic clients.Coordinate closely with relevant interfaces (e.g., RIC, RIA, Claims, RID, CAP) and other business analytics teams to ensure timely delivery of critical steering information.Provide conceptual input, strategic thinking, and storylining for internal meetings (strategy and performance) and external client meetings/pitches.Conduct in-depth research and analysis of market opportunities.Your Profile Outstanding academic background with a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field.Preferably, experience in corporate finance, capital markets, and/or consulting.Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint and Excel); practical experience with tools such as Power BI, R, or Python, with a willingness to enhance your technical skills.Excellent analytical and statistical abilities, a curious mindset, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and proposing solutions.High attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude.Exceptional networking and organizational capabilities.A strong team player with a commitment to knowledge sharing.Innovative, creative, and self-driven.Confident, engaging, and professional communication skills.Business-fluent in spoken and written English.Benefits: Company Bonus (Group Financial Performance Dependant)Health & Life InsuranceCompany Pension Program20 days annual leave plus additional wellness daysHybrid workingTraining & Development ProgramsAbout us
