This role focuses on driving performance, fostering the development of key technical and leadership skills within the team, and ensuring high-quality reporting and insights for both the internal team and clients. It demands a balance of leadership, technical expertise (particularly in SQL and data analysis), and strategic thinking to deliver actionable insights and guide team members to success. As Business Insights Supervisor, You Will… Guide and review team efforts to streamline data collection and reporting processes Lead complex data analysis initiatives, providing actionable insights by identifying trends and patterns Be hands-on with SQL, developing and optimizing data queries for accurate reporting Support the use of advanced data visualization tools like Looker Studio, Tableau, and Power BI Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client-specific requests with in-depth data analysis Lead, mentor, and develop a team of reporting analysts, ensuring that they meet both individual and team goals Provide regular feedback, coaching, and career development guidance to team members Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team Ensure the team adheres to deadlines, deliverables, and quality standards for reports and data insights Act as the primary point of contact for escalations, client requests, and complex data analysis Ensure the team is proficient in the technical tools used, including SQL, BigQuery, and data visualization tools Lead training initiatives to enhance the team's data analysis skills and technical proficiency, ensuring continuous improvement Act as a role model in translating raw data into actionable insights and business recommendations Encourage and facilitate knowledge sharing among team members to foster technical and business acumen growth As Business Insights Supervisor, You Have… A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, or a related technical field 3+ years of experience in a leadership role (Team Lead, Supervisor) within a data analytics, business intelligence, or operations environment Strong SQL skills, with proven experience in writing and optimizing complex queries. Experience with BigQuery is highly preferred Hands-on experience in data analysis, including data cleaning, transformation, and interpretation of complex data sets Proven experience in using data visualization tools like Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to create reports and dashboards Proficiency in Python for data analysis and statistical modeling Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences Demonstrated leadership skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams Strong decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations where business and client needs must be met A proactive problem-solving approach with an analytical mindset and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality outputs Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a supportive team environment Strong storytelling skills with data – the ability to craft narratives that align data insights with broader business objectives #J-18808-Ljbffr
