Purpose Contributes to the overall success of the Technology & Operations Finance in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. Accountabilities Assist with managing the end-to-end Financial Process for all expense categories assigned of the various portfolios under Technology teams including accruals, invoicing, forecasting, planning, variance analysis, budget transfers, contract renewals, purchase orders, deferrals, and ledger reconciliations. Assist with managing the Financial Process for the FTE Staffing Budget of all Technology Operations teams, including forecasting, planning, variance analysis, budget transfers, reconciliations, and maintenance of reporting data. Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Monitoring continual activity within the business providing transparency and opportunities of benefits & savings. Dynamic and detailed-oriented individual, who can multitask in a fast-paced environment, efficiently and independently. Team player attitude with a willingness to pitch in when required. Contribution to user-friendly Power BI dashboards, Excel/SharePoint databases, and procurement trackers (single pane financial views). Education / Experience / Other Information A recognized undergraduate degree in Accounting , Business Administration or related discipline, or equivalent qualification/experience. Analytical mind with critical thinking, able to juggle multiple competing priorities with attention to detail. You are a self-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skills able to pivot with changing priorities during constrained timelines. Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to succinctly distill information. 4+ years of hands-on business analysis, data, or procurement work experience. (Accounting experience). Proficient in MS Office tools (particularly Exce l and PowerPoint, Visio); and financial reporting software working knowledge of Power BI is an asset. Self-driven, highly energetic, and team player attitude. Able to meet tight deadlines and flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed, often on short notice.
