We are looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to join our team and work as a link between our marketing and sales departments. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Marketing, the Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities for the sales teams to pursue. This remote role is pivotal in generating new business opportunities by executing thoughtful outreach and strategic engagement with potential customers driven from marketing-generated demand. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for sales, ability to identify potential leads, and develop and implement innovative outreach strategies. Responsibilities: Generating new demand for the sales organization to pursue through qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities, contacting potential customers through cold calls and emails. Qualifying demand against established criteria before passing a qualified lead, or opportunity, to sales. Researching and building out additional personas or members of a buying group that may be involved in the buying decision and sharing this with sales. Nurturing predetermined groups of prospects back from sales by using multiple touch tactics. Complying with all demand management–related service-level agreements. Reporting on agreed metrics on a weekly basis by providing accurate weekly forecasts on the volume of qualified demand and progressing toward the established service-level agreement and performance metrics. Tracking and managing prospecting, qualification, and nurture activities in the company's CRM. Setting up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Account Executives. Staying updated with Anthology's products and services. The Candidate: Required Skills/Qualifications: 5-8 years of sales experience. Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role. Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls). Track record of achieving sales quotas. Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and ABM (e.g., 6Sense). Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts). Understanding of sales performance metrics. Strong knowledge of digital selling strategies. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong process orientation and data analysis experience. Must be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift workload to meet deadlines. Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above. Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Education industry experience is valued but not essential. Experience with the B2B sales and marketing growth services. Familiar with SaaS sales cycles. Experience with ABX sales/marketing strategies.
