We specialise in high-quality, ethically produced garments and offer a full suite of services to international clients. With expansion plans in place and the goal of scaling the business to unicorn status, we are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to drive this growth. Job Description: We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) with a proven track record in scaling businesses, securing investments, and building strategic partnerships. This person will be responsible for identifying new growth opportunities, managing investor relations, and positioning (YM)COUTURE for substantial growth and funding. The ideal candidate will have experience in venture capital or investor relations, ideally within the fashion or luxury goods sector. Responsibilities: Identify and secure new business opportunities to drive growth and scale the company. Build and maintain relationships with investors, venture capital firms, and other funding sources. Develop and implement strategies for market expansion and partnership development. Pitch (YM)COUTURE to potential investors, communicating the company's vision, value, and growth potential. Work closely with the CEO and other senior leadership to develop long-term business plans. Collaborate with internal teams, including design, production, and marketing, to align business development efforts with company goals. Lead negotiations for high-profile deals and strategic partnerships. Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for positioning (YM)COUTURE as a leader in the luxury and sustainable fashion markets. Requirements: Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, particularly in securing investments and scaling businesses. Strong network with venture capitalists, angel investors, and high-net-worth individuals. Experience in the fashion or luxury goods industry is preferred, but not required. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to pitch to investors and partners. Strategic thinker with the ability to execute on growth plans. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong leadership skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
