The Business Development Leader will drive the strategic direction for business development initiatives within Johnson Controls, ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategy. This role entails developing robust relationships with key stakeholders, identifying market opportunities, and leading a team to achieve sales and growth objectives.
How you will do it Develop and implement strategic business development plans that align with corporate objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
Lead a high-performing business development team; mentor and guide team members to achieve individual and group targets.
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; adjust strategies accordingly to maximize market penetration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with product and service offerings.
What we look for
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in business development or sales management, preferably in the building solutions industry.
Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of driving teams to exceed performance targets.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
