You are passionate about meeting people from all over the world.As a Business Developer you will identify and build new business opportunities with universities, companies, industry associations and academic institutions to generate more partnerships, more names/leads and help the business grow.
You will also be expected to organize events and lead our referral/loyalty program for adults.
You will be asked to reach weekly and monthly generation and sales targets and other predefined KPIs.Basic qualifications and more details about the role:A Bachelor´s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, or International Affairs.Preferable but not mandatory: having studied/worked/lived abroad.Spanish as native language and full fluency in both written and spoken English.2 to 3 years marketing and/or sales experience.Preferable but not mandatory: Experience in event planning and execution You are great atOpening new doors and finding business opportunities.Self-expression and communications skills in every environment.Negotiating / Listening / Identifying win-win solutions / and having an entrepreneurial spirit.Meeting goals and working under pressure.Being organized and fulfilling acquired commitments with partners/customers.Your core responsibilities are:Identify potential partners to work with.Generate leads and cold call prospective customers/businesses.Meet with customers/clients face to face, zoom or over the phone.Create and execute in a timely manner an activity plan, by participating in events that increase customers' interest and boost sales.
Stands, exhibitions, fairs, running presentations are part of those events.Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting goals and objectives to develop and improve the business.Plan and execute the activities you will run daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly with the help of your direct marketing and sales teams within EF Colombia.
