About the role Purpose: This role plans, drives, and accelerates the execution of the Endobariatrics growth strategy in Andean Region (Colombia & Ecuador).
This role is responsible for ensuring Andean Region meets portfolio strategy execution and for achieving sales and growth objectives.
The role, in partnership with the Therapy Development Specialist, is responsible for increasing number of patients treated with and/or market share of franchise products throughout Andean Region, while developing and leveraging relationships with medical Key Opinion Leaders/Hospital administration & Medical societies.
In addition to marketing initiatives, this role will be responsible for developing education and training programs for physicians (inpatient and outpatient) and hospital staff on Endobariatrics portfolio including patient identification, patient referral, implant, and follow-up procedures.
This role may also include responsibility of leading channel partners of Endobariatrics Portfolio in Andean Region.
Your responsibilities will include: Maintains awareness of industry, competition, health care and economic trends and their impact on Endobariatrics short-term and long-term business plans adjusting plans and strategies as needed to reflect market conditions.
Partner with product manager to design and lead the execution of marketing initiatives to boost business development.
Identifies new business opportunities and accounts by developing and leveraging relationships with academic and research institutions and Key Opinion Leaders.
Develops and executes sales strategies and activities to grow number of patients treated, including cross sectional patient identification and patient referral targeting new HCPs in partnership with the TDS.
Maintains contact with major accounts and key relationships seeking to leverage profitable business ventures; Attend and participate in customer, company and industry sponsored forums and courses.
Works in close cooperation with the therapy development specialist, channel partners and sales teams in developing and maintaining working relationships with the economic buyer in their region's key accounts; Covering new contract designs and negotiations involving all products & solutions.
Educates local sales teams to take over projects in identified accounts after successful project implementation and focus on developing next account.
Collaborates with Health Economic & Government Affairs team to remove access & economic barriers in accounts.
Case assistance and clinical support in operating room for assurance of the correct use of technology in case of needed."
What we are looking for in you Required qualifications: Professional in Life sciences, Biomedical Engineering or Business Administration Previous experience in comercial and/or marketing roles with proven record of sales growth (+5 years) Previous experience on the field with bariatric and /or general surgery in comercial or clinical roles is preferred (min 2 years) English Level: advanced.
