Responsibilities Master QuickBooks to manage and balance accounts with precision Efficiently process and pay bills, ensuring timely payments to vendors and service providers Handle payroll for both full-time and contract employees, guaranteeing accurate and punctual compensation Meticulously reconcile financial statements and generate comprehensive reports Collaborate seamlessly with the practice manager and team members, fostering a cohesive financial strategy Assist in collecting and organizing financial documents, maintaining an impeccable record-keeping system Proactively maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, supporting the practice's growth initiatives Adapt to the practice's unique financial processes, contributing to operational efficiency Requirements Proven track record with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping or accounting Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex financial software Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy Outstanding time management skills, capable of juggling multiple financial tasks efficiently Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders Familiarity with medical practice finances is a plus, but not required Adaptability to learn and integrate into the practice's specific financial systems and processes Commitment to confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information Availability to provide support during the practice manager's maternity leave starting January, with potential for ongoing engagement IMPORTANT!!
