Job DescriptionThe Business Lean Transformation Coach for Finance Operations will operate as a facilitator, trainer, coach and accountability partner to the operational leadership and team members to drive the understanding and application of Lean principles and tools, whilst delivering process improvements and productivity.
These teams could be in the early stages of the cultural adoption of lean, requiring awareness, coaching and training, or they could be more mature and in need of an advanced Lean approach.
The Business Lean Transformation Coach will:·Support the aligned operational teams + leaders in their Lean Journey for continuous improvement, and operationalize the Genpact Lean Approach·Closely partner with operations teams and leaders to identify, create and implement the overall process transformation roadmap for the client - work closely with Business Leaders for realization of the same·Identify and enable process & technology improvement opportunities by conducting various lean events: VSM, Kaizens for process improvement, root cause analysis, try-storming, Gemba walks, lean standard work, etc.
·Identify opportunities for both quick wins and longer-term projects to drive productivity and standardisation across the teams.·Project Management - Lead the execution of the identified process and automation projects ranging from identification to implementation.
Drive Governance rigor across internal/client teams on projects deployment progress.·Coordinating with our Digital Transformation and QPA/RPA teams to deliver any process automation opportunities.·Enable operations teams in establishing key performance indicators (KPIs), Bowlers and implementing daily management (DM) and monthly operating reviews (MOR) to drive continuous improvement within their specific processes.·Promote a lean culture in operations by developing and conducting Lean awareness training and coaching at all levels of the organisation, enabling lean tool and behaviour adoption of operational teams.·Work with other Lean Leaders/Coaches in establishing and improving standards, tools, templates, playbooks and develop a library of case studies for best practice sharing.·Design and lead an agreed governance model to track outcomes against agreed targets and plans, alongside the regional lean coach·Identify any specific needs and subsequently lead special projects as needed to facilitate and enable the lean agenda·Coaching and mentoring of local GB and BB projects.QUALIFICATIONS:·Bachelors/Masters degree in any finance, engineering, industrial, technical, analytical or business domain·An experienced Lean practitioner or BB (min.
5+ years in industry) with a solid understanding and hands-on experience/certification of the Lean toolkit.·Capable of facilitating lean events and coaching the core tools such as Daily Visual Management, structured A3 Problem Solving, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Transactional Process Improvement, Time Observation Tools, etc.·Demonstrated ability in solving process related problems and transforming process performance through the application of Lean techniques, reducing non-value-added activities in transactional value streams·Strong Consulting, relationship management and facilitation skills including the ability to listen and ask the right questions to understand the business problem, analyse and provide meaningful insights.·Demonstrated Project Management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks; (Project management degree/diploma/certification would be an advantage)·A creative thinker able to define new and engaging ways to enhance collaboration, engagement and communication across multiple team members and functions.·Demonstrated ability of driving change in a complex and fast paced environment, with strong influencing and communication skills across operations and client stakeholders ·Desirable: experience in a Finance transactional environment, implementing lean DNA and utilising lean toolkits with domain expertise in Record to Report, Order to Cash or Purchase to Pay processes.
