Job Description This is a remote position.
Monday to Friday from 10am – 7pm Texas Time with a one hour unpaid break / 8 hours per day/40 hours per week Responsibilities: Review daily bank statements and transactions for accuracy and completeness.
Reconcile bank accounts with transactions in the accounting software, ensuring all records match.
Identify and resolve discrepancies between the bank statement and accounting records.
Maintain accurate records of reconciled accounts and ensure all data is up to date.
Report any issues or anomalies found during reconciliation to the accounting supervisor.
Assist with periodic audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.
Collaborate with the accounting team to improve the reconciliation process.
Ensure timely and efficient completion of daily reconciliations to meet deadlines.
Requirements Basic knowledge of accounting principles or experience in a similar role.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar systems) is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing financial statements.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good organizational and time management skills to handle daily tasks efficiently.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Excellent communication skills for reporting discrepancies or issues.
A high degree of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.
