Back-End Developer

Duties: 1.
Refactor and upgrade existing Python codebase to AWS SAM applications.
2.
Develop backend features of our primary web application leveraging AWS SAM.
3.
Extend and maintain the RESTful HTTP API, ensuring compatibility with legacy and new systems.
4.
Implement and manage service deployments and rollbacks using AWS SAM.
5.
Design and estimate new features based on customer needs, focusing on AWS services.
6.
Investigate and rectify defects in the application code.
7.
Participate in an on-call rotation for service issues.
Job Requirements: 1.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in web application development with a focus on cloud-based applications.
2.
Demonstrated experience in refactoring Python code into AWS SAM applications.
3.
Strong knowledge of Linux.
4.
Experience with relational database design and query operations.
5.
Understanding of networking, DNS, and their implications on the design of scalable web services.
6.
Strong proficiency with AWS, especially in AWS SAM and cloud resource management.
7.
Understanding of SCRUM and Agile development practices.
8.
Familiarity with Docker and traditional server operations.
Education: 1.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
Relevant experience.
