Job Description As a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with other DevOps Engineers, Development teams, Product Owners & Scrum Masters to realize critical business goals.
Our team is co-located and agile, with central technology hubs in Europe, Canada and India. Responsibilities To own the day-to-day tasks of deployment to Non-Production and Production environments, to assist in creating, maintaining the tools & processes involved. Configure and manage Azure subscriptions, assets access and structure. Design and maintain tools and systems to both deploy and manage these systems. To ensure the availability of the services to deliver agreed service level agreements. To provision and manage the Azure hosted virtual server estate. Scripting of Infrastructure as code and deployment steps. Support production releases of new features and products. Participate in evolving our build, deployment, and release management practices towards a continuous integration/continuous deployment model. Provide technical support for our production and non-production environments. Qualifications Ability to automate system configuration and management using scripts and configuration management tools. Comfortable with using PowerShell, Ansible and Terraform. Experience of working with continuous delivery tool sets and frameworks, such as Azure DevOps. Knowledge of Azure including virtual networking, PAAS and IAAS services. Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, DFSR, Group Policy. Knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies including server 2012 R2, Server 2016, Server 2019. Experience with managing highly available production-facing e-commerce websites. Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface across cross-functional technology teams and the business.
