to announce an opportunity to join our team as: LATAM AWS ALLIANCE MANAGER Full-time | Bogotá Role Overview: As the Regional AWS Alliance Manager - known internally as the Platform Manager Development Manager, you will define and execute strategies to drive regional partner performance with a focus on AWS solutions.Responsibilities include strategic planning, stakeholder collaboration, performance tracking, and relationship management to meet business objectives related to AWS.How a day to day would look like in this role: Define Regional Partner Strategies: Establish performance targets, programs, sales plays, and incentives tailored to the regional AWS market.Utilize globally defined AWS programs and sales plays to inform regional strategy and targets.Identify High-Propensity Opportunities: Collaborate with regional partner managers and AWS sellers to identify key opportunities.Co-develop tailored sales pitches focused on AWS solutions to maximize revenue.Define Operational Requirements: Determine necessary AWS accreditations, certifications, marketing efforts, and pre-sales capacity.Ensure regional teams have the technical pre-sales capacity and AWS certifications needed to achieve targets.Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with internal and external stakeholders for effective execution of the AWS partner strategy.Build relationships with regional AWS ISV commercial and partner teams, fostering awareness of AWS capabilities through regular presence at partner regional HQs.Serve as the communication bridge to channel customer feedback to global AWS teams and refine global priorities.Create Marketing Plans: Develop marketing plans, agendas, and collateral in collaboration with the regional marketing team.Track the execution and effectiveness of marketing efforts through defined KPIs.Design and Track Programs: Develop and assess the effectiveness of regional AWS programs and sales plays, such as SPIFs and seller trainings.Establish Operating Rhythm and Governance: Implement governance structures to drive and monitor performance outcomes.Conduct regular business reviews (monthly/quarterly) with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.Conduct Enablement Sessions: Organize and lead sessions to socialize elements from the AWS sales playbook, including sales motions, pitches, and integrated offerings.Keep regional teams updated on changes in AWS partner strategy and best practices.Design PoCs and Case Studies: Collaborate with AWS Service Line leaders to design Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and case studies.Share these with regional sellers to demonstrate value and drive AWS sales.What we need to see from you We would expect you to have as Mandatory: 5+ years in partner ecosystem, preferably with experience working with AWS and their partners Extensive background in AWS partner management.Ability to build relationships within the AWS partner ecosystem and with internal stakeholders to drive awareness of AWS capabilities and execute partner strategies.Proven operational strength in designing and tracking effectiveness of AWS programs, sales plays, and incentives.Strategic mindset with analytic thinking capabilities.Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Key Sales Competencies & Behaviors: Leading Business Acumen, Understanding Client Needs, Developing Relationships, Delivering Value Proposition, Overcoming Objections, Teaching & Advising, Navigating the Deal, Managing Procurement, Negotiating to Close, and Growing the Client through AWS Competency Assessment.Extensive AWS partner management experience.Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Proven operational strength in designing and tracking AWS programs, sales plays, and incentives.Strategic mindset with analytic thinking capabilities.Proficiency in strategic prospecting techniques and relationship building within the AWS ecosystem.Desirable Skills: Experience in developing and executing AWS-specific marketing plans.Familiarity with AWS sales methodologies and best practices.Understanding of the AWS software industry landscape, including market trends and emerging technologies.Aptitude for leveraging AWS technology solutions to solve business challenges.Soft Skills: Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills.Ability to build and maintain relationships with prospects and clients.Continuous learning orientation to stay updated on AWS developments and best practices.Effective collaboration with
