The EnsembleIQ Audience Development team is responsible for strategic planning and execution to acquire, engage and retain audiences.
The Audience Development and Engagement Manager is an integral member of the team, primarily responsible for audience data reporting, analysis, and quality assurance, helping to create audience development and audience marketing strategies, and activating those strategies to acquire, engage and retain targeted audience members.
This role reports to and works with the head of Audience Development to achieve all of the above and to research and deliver insights informing future activities.
This role focuses on audience development for events, digital, and print products, and develops and leverages internal and external platforms to drive targeted growth, engagement and retention.
The role directly supports the audience development needs of specific EnsembleIQ Brand Leaders, fulfilling their strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities: - Create and activate audience acquisition, engagement and retention plans - Ability to draft, evaluate and manage messaging strategy to develop audience communications that connect with customers and convey product benefits and value proposition - Manage magazine strategy and execution to deliver print and digital circulation goals - Manage brand Audience Development budget and forecasting - Conduct thorough research and become a database expert to develop customized and targeted audience lists for all products ranging in scale and topic to support events, sales and research initiatives - Research and mine second- and third-party data sources such as ZoomInfo and other such platforms, external event and association lists and partnerships, etc.
- Plan and execute campaigns designed to achieve audience goals by leveraging owned platforms, social media, email, partnerships and paid media platforms - Oversee all campaign activity to ensure timely delivery and measurable results - Ensure that creative, message, language and voice are consistent across all platforms - Work with the Data Analytics Automation Manager to identify reporting needs and activate automated conversion strategies - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to track deliverables and timelines and to provide consistent monthly progress reports on digital and print efforts against brand goals; proactively flag issues and identify solutions - Perform competitive analysis, deliver strategic recommendations across product lines - Collaborate with Audience Development Specialist(s) to create and activate comprehensive, targeted audience marketing plans across channels, reaching key audience segments to achieve business goals - Work with Experience and SEO Manager and Brand teams to create and secure templates and collateral materials for audience acquisition and retention campaigns (web, social, email, retargeting, etc.
- Lead strategies that support prospect-list growth and database goals - Manage the brand's monthly audience data reporting, analysis and strategy - Implement data-driven insights to improve engagement and conversion rates - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Development, Analytics, a related field, or equivalent experience - At least 5+ years' experience in audience acquisition, development, or data growth roles with print and digital media experience - Media audience experience preferred - Healthcare and pharmaceutical industry knowledge preferred - Familiarity with Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and compliance standards for email marketing and communications - Experience with segmenting data in marketing automation tools - Significant knowledge of email marketing system ESP - Marketo a plus - Ability to translate data into actionable next steps/report outs/year over year changes - Familiar working on multichannel audience campaign planning - Demonstrated ambition and enthusiasm when taking on challenges - Logically analyzes data, systematically weighs options to determine the best solution What We Offer: At EnsembleIQ, we offer a competitive compensation package that values your contributions.
