This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Purchasing Administrator at NEARSOL in Medellin.
This role involves assisting with the purchasing processes, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for procurement activities including, but not limited to, inventory analysis and providing purchasing recommendations, order execution within the stores' supply catalog, purchase order creation in Ariba platform, and purchase order tracking and supplier follow-up.
Weekly inventory analysis, cataloging pricing updates within multiple tools/systems, new item set-up in catalog and with fulfillment partners in master item tracker.
Generating and reviewing recurring purchasing and inventory reports for distribution, commercial invoice audits, and visual item analysis and purchase recommendations.
Project support including managing and maintaining internal project worksheets, tracking in-process project status, maintaining accurate data within the platform, and taking and distributing meeting notes.
RFP data analysis and preparation of information for presentation to internal and external teams.
Assisting the procurement team with identification of new suppliers, and supplier onboarding, payment term exemption, etc.
Qualifications: Must live in Medellin.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
2-5 years of experience in Purchasing and Procurement Administration.
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and Ariba is highly preferred.
