Job Description As Associate Director, Content Design, you provide leadership to the content design practice by understanding, applying, and disseminating content best practices. You help lead content design for your clients' cross-channel content initiatives. You collaborate with experience designers and technical teams as well as subject matter experts across product lines, brands, and regions to understand and help support strategic business objectives and customer requirements. We're looking for a bilingual content designer, fluent in Spanish and English, to work with a Health client on Spanish-language websites for consumer audiences in the United States. Please note: This is a contract role for a defined temporal term subject to possible extension. Responsibilities: Provides client-facing, senior strategic support. Experience facilitating stakeholder interviews to gather content requirements and understand business needs as they relate to content. Experience with content asset inventories, content audits, and evaluation. Establishes evaluation criteria and approach, using criteria based on brand documentation, competitive assessments, audience segmentation, SEO data, and site metrics. Provides content creation and revision recommendations that help the client and its customers achieve goals. Develops enterprise content strategies that document content mission, goals, and objectives and describe how content should ladder up to brand principles, user needs, and business objectives. Recommends content optimization and reuse strategies and address syndication, personalization, and localization. Responsible for management of, as well as periodic updates to, personalization and content tagging strategies. Maps segments, profiles, and geo data to content types. Documents which tags should be applied to enable personalization. Establishes and maintains editorial standards and accuracy and quality of content. Experience with information architecture for large, complex websites. Experience with planning and executing large content migrations. Understanding of where in the project timeline the content designer needs to collaborate with product/marketing SMEs, UX/design, data scientists, and engineers. Comfortable presenting, leading, and participating in remote and in-person conversations and working sessions. Able to work both independently and in multi-disciplinary teams.
