Position Overview The Application Specialist will be responsible for accurately and efficiently obtaining information from clients via calls and filling out forms from USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) for various immigration cases, including VAWA, T-Visa, U-Visa, Medical DA, and others.
Background in legal assistance, immigration law, and USCIS form filing, and customer service will be instrumental in ensuring the successful completion of immigration applications.
Candidate must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
Schedule: Tuesday to Friday: 2:00pm to 11:00pm EST, and Saturday: 10:00am to 7:00pm EST.
Payrate: $7.25/hr
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities Review biographical documents of the case to ensure accurate data entry for case processing.Contact multiple clients back-to-back via phone to obtain important information for the case that may be critical to provide in the application.Fill out immigration applications including VAWA, T-Visa, U-Visa, Medical DA, and others in a timely fashion.While filling out USCIS forms, ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.Essential Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Possesses excellent bilingual (English & Spanish) interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Previous customer service experience required.Background in legal assistance or immigration law preferred.Knowledge of USCIS forms and their proper completion for various immigration cases, including VAWA, T-Visa, U-Visa, Medical DA, and Asylum, preferred.Experience working with government forms or similar documentation processes preferred.Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately review and confirm the accuracy of client-provided documentation.Ability to work independently and efficiently, while also being a collaborative team player.
Adherence to strict confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive client information.Minimum Qualifications Bilingual (Spanish English) C1.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Previous background in legal preferred.Strong attention to detail to accurately enter client data into forms.
