Role Description: We are seeking a Social Science Researcher (Anthropologist) to join our Anthropology/Consumer Insights team.
This role is pivotal in supporting our fast-paced, global research projects, focusing on cultural and ethnographic studies in various industries such as food, health, financial services, beauty, and personal care.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background in human and social sciences and a passion for applying anthropological insights to business challenges.
Responsibilities: Conduct cultural and ethnographic research through our SaaS platform.
Interpret and transform data into actionable insights for clients.
Prepare and present research findings in a clear and impactful manner.
Support client-facing activities, including managing meetings and documenting client success notes.
Serve as a customer success liaison, ensuring clients are informed and utilizing research effectively.
Provide real-time answers to client inquiries and offer expert advice during meetings.
Schedule and coordinate research projects, which typically last 3 days in the US and 1-1.5 weeks globally.
Collaborate with the Director of Research and other team members to ensure project objectives are met.
Minimum Qualifications: Education: MA or PhD in Human and Social Sciences (Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology, Linguistics, History, Political Science, or related fields).
Strong qualitative research skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
Desired Qualifications: Academic experience preferred; industry experience is a plus.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
