Job DescriptionAbout the positionPartnerships & Communications area is seeking a highly motivated Analyst to support private sector engagement, who will be responsible for assisting the Senior Partnerships Manager in private sector partner profiling, data/trends analysis and outreach events or activities, with the aim to have an up-to-date understanding of the private sector landscape in the agricultural research space and be at the forefront. The position will be based in the operations center of the Americas, located in the Campus of Palmira, Colombia.Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate private sector engagement through organizing outreach campaign activities to inform new industry players and this can contribute to the expansion of Alliance's partnerships.Support with the data collection for the identification of impact-driven private sector organizations, such as companies with strong alignment to sustainability-related impact and research.Collect and assist with the organization documents on private sector intelligence to offer a comprehensive understanding of the broader private sector environment in alignment with the Alliance's strategy for partnerships.Provide support with administrative matters in preparing PPT presentations, events, and data analyses on private sector engagement trends and issues, ensuring all outputs comply with internal guidelines and standards.Contribute to maintaining a database of information related to ongoing partnerships as well as potential, guaranteeing consistency and accuracy of data.Supports private sector engagement due diligence through monitoring the existing partnerships by regular engagement with partners to identify new avenues for collaboration and engagement with scientists.Provide support with administrative matters and follow-up.Work closely with the regional research team and Headquarters by providing support maintaining the updated data to a growing portfolio of private donors.RequirementsQualifications and requirementsBachelor's degree in Public Relations, Business, International Relations, International Development or another relevant field.1 year of experience in similar positions.Advanced or intermediate English level (oral and written).Interest and/or knowledge of the private sector, particularly focused on the agricultural sector, is highly valued.
